Summit Packaging Systems is proud to announce the release of its inaugural Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. This milestone provides valuable insight into our broader impact on society and the environment and marks an important step in our ongoing sustainability journey.

The report highlights key findings that will help shape our future initiatives. By combining these insights with feedback from customers and other stakeholders, we are continuing to refine and strengthen our approach to responsible and sustainable business practices.

Over the past year, Summit has made significant progress in building a more robust sustainability framework. Notable advancements include the appointment of a dedicated ESG Coordinator along with the implementation of an internal Code of Conduct, a Supplier Code of Conduct, and additional supporting policies to promote accountability and transparency across our operations.

“Sustainable business practices are increasingly important to our customers and other stakeholders,” said Robin Franken, European ESG Coordinator. “We are committed to aligning with their expectations and advancing shared sustainability goals.”

As we move forward, Summit remains focused on continuous improvement and meaningful impact—ensuring that sustainability is embedded in everything we do.

Meet Robin Franken, European ESG Coordinator

Robin Franken has been named ESG Coordinator for our European division, where he oversees corporate sustainability compliance, documentation, and reporting.

He brings a wealth of experience and a grounded approach that makes corporate sustainability both manageable and meaningful.  By putting the right structures in place, Robin helps ensure that Summit is not only compliant but also positioned as a reliable partner for clients who view sustainability as a corporate priority.

Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in econometrics and a master's degree in financial econometrics. Before joining Summit Packaging Systems, he worked for GreenbyBlue, where he helped organizations translate their sustainability goals into structured, actionable programs. In this role, he supported Summit, which ultimately led to his current position with our company.
