Our in-house machine-building capabilities support our vertical integration and new product development for our eight manufacturing facilities across the Americas and Europe.

Located in Keene, New Hampshire, USA, our 10,500 square-foot Automation and Engineering facility is staffed by an 11-member team of engineers, designers, technicians, and software developers. The group is led by David Lane, who has over 45 years of experience in high-production manufacturing, working with leading brands such as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, and IBM.
Here, Summit designs, builds, tests, and deploys the majority of our high-speed assembly machines for our six global manufacturing facilities. Since opening the facility 16 years ago, we have built over 60 machines in a wide range of sizes and capacities.
Summit’s machine-building capabilities are supported by a 15,000-square-foot Tool Shop, located in Manchester, New Hampshire. With over $6 million in advanced equipment and a team of 40 skilled toolmakers, the operation maintains Summit’s global assembly systems and supports new product development.
