Investment in Advanced Molding and Assembly Facilities Strengthens Actuator Portfolio in Almere, Netherlands

Summit Packaging Systems has significantly expanded its Europa two-piece button actuator production capacity with a new, state-of-the-art 64-cavity mold and a customized high-speed assembly line at its Almere facility in the Netherlands. The expansion, driven by growing customer demand, will ensure a more robust supply chain for the evolving personal care market while maintaining our renowned standards of quality, service, and price.

An Actuator Solution for Deodorant and Anti-Perspirant Applications
Weighing just 1.1 grams, our Europa lightweight actuator is designed specifically for personal care applications. Compatible with Summit’s full range of inserts, it is available both with and without mechanical break-up, making it ideally suited for use in fine mist deodorant and powder anti-perspirant applications. Its lightweight design and softer aesthetic lines provide an enhanced consumer experience, while its reduction in material usage boosts production efficiency and supports our sustainability goals.
A Hub for Actuator Technology in Europe
Our Almere facility now serves as a hub for Summit’s expansion in actuator technology, facilitating our company’s commitment to providing innovative, sustainable solutions to our global partners. Our new R&D lab, led by an experienced product design engineer, can provide any development work needed to meet our customers’ product performance requirements. This expansion further solidifies our position as an industry leader in innovative aerosol dispensing solutions for personal care products.
