We are proud to announce that Summit Packaging Systems celebrated its 50th anniversary on January 6, 2026.

Founded by Gordon Gilroy in January, 1976, we are a privately held, financially strong organization, now welcoming its third generation of leadership.

Summit employees around the globe celebrate 50 years of innovation in the aerosol industry.

In our first year of operation, we shipped 90 million valves with a team of 125 employees. Today, our global workforce of 1,000 employees produces over 100,000,000 components daily from eight production facilities encompassing over 100,000 square meters of manufacturing floor space across the Americas and Europe.

Summit boasts a wealth of loyal employees—some working with us for as many as 40 years!  This longevity represents an outstanding commitment and a level of knowledge and hands-on experience that is invaluable to our customers.

We continue to serve a broad range of industries and applications, offering a complete portfolio of aerosol valves, spray caps and actuators. From the first day we opened our doors, Summit has remained committed to quality, service, and innovative technology. This strategy is supported by continuously investing in our capital base, maintaining a vertically integrated manufacturing process, and developing and sustaining a dedicated, experienced workforce.
